2021.09.25 01:59 Youeclipsedbyme Upgrade path for my Kona?
I have https://www.konaworld.com/archive/2017/precept_130.cfm
I have changed the drivetrain to an eagle 1x11 and Added a dropper post.
Changed the normal stuff. Pedals. Grips. Tires (when I wore Down the Ardents)
I am in love with the frame and how it feels and think it is worthy of keeping. I do would definitely like to improve the bikes ability to absorb impact on small bumps and it’s uphill lockout is very very inefficient. I want to keep it as a mid travel bike (maybe 150 front and rear) so rock gardens aren’t so devastating on Decent.
Brakes are ok. Not great but serviceable. I would consider those too.
I have little mechanical acumen but can purchase parts and hire to throw them on. The drive train was easy to navigate but rear and front is out of my league when considering geometry.
Advice on how to improve on this frame?

2021.09.25 01:59 mardo4 I need guidance.
I’ve been a Mac Miller fan for a few years now and some of my friends have been asking what Mac Miller albums/songs they should listen to to get into him. Of course, Mac’s discog is pretty diverse sonically and emotionally, so I was wondering what you guys would suggest and why. I’m trying to expose a couple more people to the man, the myth, the legend, so any suggestions would help. Thanks!

2021.09.25 01:59 Willbcrypto Bitcoin might finally have its American ETF soon
As you may know, Canada already has Bitcoin ETFs and Europe has Bitcoin ETPs, but the United-States is still behind on that matter.
They already have the Chicago Mercantile Exchange(CME) Bitcoin futures and Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust Fund (GBTC). The first one isn't great for the small retail investor because of its nature and GBTC is an OTC product with a high yearly fee of 2.5%.
Over the years, a lot of companies tried to make a case for a Bitcoin-backed ETF so retail investors could have an exposure to the asset in a safe and regulated environment. However, the SEC has constantly been reluctant in the acceptance of any Bitcoin ETF product, despite the legitimacy of the companies behind them.
On August 3rd 2021, the chairman of the SEC Gary Gensler posted remarks about cryptocurrencies. (https://www.sec.gov/news/public-statement/gensler-aspen-security-forum-2021-08-03)
Here are the interesting ones : (1) '' Nakamoto had solved two riddles that had dogged these cryptographers and other technology experts for a couple of decades: first, how to move something of value on the internet without a central intermediary; and relatedly, how to prevent the “double-spending” of that valuable digital token. ''
(2) '' Before starting at the SEC, I had the honor of researching, writing, and teaching about the intersection of finance and technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This included courses on crypto finance, blockchain technology, and money. ''
(3) '' Next, I want to turn to investment vehicles providing exposure to crypto assets. Such investment vehicles already exist, with the largest among them having been around for eight years and worth more than $20 billion. Also, there are a number of mutual funds that invest in Bitcoin futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME).
I anticipate that there will be filings with regard to exchange-traded funds (ETFs) under the Investment Company Act (’40 Act). When combined with the other federal securities laws, the ’40 Act provides significant investor protections.
Given these important protections, I look forward to the staff’s review of such filings, particularly if those are limited to these CME-traded Bitcoin futures.''
Before these remarks, Bitcoin ETF applicants were focusing on a spot-based product under the '33 Act, where the fund would have held Bitcoin for its clients. Gensler indicates that he would be more comfortable in the approval of such a product only if they were futures-based under the '40 Act, especially if it used the CME product.
The very next day, on August 5th, Invesco made a SEC filling for this exact product. (https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgadata/1418144/000119312521236682/d209327d485apos.htm) with the intent to become effective 75 days later, which would lead to October 19th 2021. It is up to the SEC to decide if it is appropriate.
But these companies are doing than just fillings. On September 8th, Fidelity Investments met with 16 SEC staff to present them a new trust fund that would hold CME Bitcoin Futures contract. https://www.sec.gov/comments/sr-cboebzx-2021-039/srcboebzx2021039-250110.pdf , but this product is filled under '33 Act so its odds are definitely less.
The spawn of a Bitcoin ETF in the United-States seems to be approaching. While the retail adoption of this product is uncertain, a direct SEC approval would be the first of a kind for the crypto asset class in the US. This moment has been highly anticipated since the Winklevoss twins tried to push for their ETF back in 2014.

2021.09.25 01:59 WaffingBeef Dogecoin gains
Bought some dogecoin off a site so sketchy my bank tried to block my card and warned me if anything happens I am on my own. I went for it anyway against my better judgement. My original investment of about £25($34) ballooned to what would have been £336($460) at the high point. I never actually sold on an exchange but used it to get my friends into crypto by buying stuff from them with Doge. My total profit was somewhere around £200 after it was done.
I now have a much larger and more expensive Doge bag so hopefully lightning can strike twice!

2021.09.25 01:59 NEETWorkingAtHome getting rejected by entry level retail is one of the worst feelings, like what can a person do? i feel fukin paaathetic
i applied to target for their lv lowest job, seasonal cus rep job which has some weird extended title that i forgot. they liked my resume and ~9 months of experience, so i got a remote interview the same day. i thought i had it in a bag because i got the followup emails really quick. but then i reminded myself of the reality.
i knew i was in trouble because i am one of those guys you will assume is a total jerk but will be really surprised i am just not, quite the opposite. like i am just not an ass even tho i look like one. i dont know how to be different. every interview i basically have to act and make my personality more flowery or something i dont know.
in my defense:the hirevue software they use to interview was honestly terrible, they show you a person asking you a question who i found to be mostly unintelligible (not clear),you do get a text version of the quesion which is good, but it expires in 30 seconds then, action! the camera rolls and you need to record yourself answering. you get 3 tries to record, like you can discard it and start over, but if you didnt write the question down what is the point, i honestly forgot the bulk of the questions. i kept thinking this is so stupid, it tells you almost nothing about me other then i am not really a bubbly "normie"

2021.09.25 01:59 almosamofas Amazon FBA prep centre recommendation USA marketplace
Can anyone recommend prep centre based in USA as I’m based in Canada and looking to expand to USA marketplace. The one I’m working with, I had to go back and forth with them to get received status of incoming inventory and I have been looking for a well known prep centre for long time now. The other one I’m looking at like this one shipmonk.com they require a minimum of $250 monthly service fee with them which is not the scale I’m at right now.
